Handmade Natural Soap Bar – Shangani

Shangani: The original fishing village that developed into Stonetown, Zanzibar.. founded in the 11th century Shangani is the neighbourhood I first stayed in when I visited Zanzibar – it’s one of the areas that’s most popular with tourists as it’s right near the waterfront area… its hustle and bustle is soothing to my soul – it’s where I feel like the rest of the world is a million miles away. This bar takes soothing goodness to a whole new level… Starting with a base of rooibos tea, then adding honey and ground oats means this bar both gentle on the skin and lightly exfoliating. The addition of lemon and chamomile essential oils rounds out the soothing properties of this bar of soap – the honeycomb textured top adds a little fun. Note that this bar is NOT completely vegan due to the honey content – though I do always use “happy” honey sourced from a local beekeeper.

To get the most from your hand made soap, please use a soap rack and allow the soap to dry between uses As this product is hand made in small batches, each soap will have a slight variance in design and colour Always check with your doctor before using essential oil products during pregnancy.
